Algoma Library Friends' bookstore sells gently-used books.
Each year the Algoma Library Friends had a massive book sale held on the library lawn during Shanty Days.
With the opening of the Book Corner, this sale is now held at the bookstore. Many hardback and paperback books are offered for sale, as well DVDs, CDs, audio books, and puzzles. Stop by during Shanty Days weekend for some awesome bargains!
Warmth and cheer were found at the Book Corner during the recent holiday season. Some of the library’s younger patrons found time after school to make snowflakes for our children’s room - what a beautiful winter wonderland that was! The Book Corner had a large supply of Christmas books, puzzles, movies, and music at discounted prices. And hot drinks and cookies were available in our sitting area.
It was a nice place to buy those holiday gifts!
